when the words of a stranger
makes you feel...as if
they have stolen your thoughts
and made them their own
@ that moment in time you realize
you were never alone
somewhere in this cold world
someone feels as you do
someone is in need of love as you are
two trains of thought
unknowingly traversing parallel tracks
their destination...destiny
how surreal is that?
when the words of a stranger
encompasses your entire being
liberates your soul
focuses your mind on sights
your eyes are not able to see
you have experienced something
far greater than the exchanging of poetry
when you are comforted by their intellect
then drown within its depths
when nothing satisfies you more
than to be swept away
in their stream of consciousness
when you become their muse
and they become your inspiration
and in each others words you see
the possibilities of the impossible
the logic in the illogical
when the words of a stranger
stimulates you cerebrally
like the touch from a lover
stimulates you physically
you have achieved a level of ecstasy
most people are never meant to see
when their words become so infectious
you break out in hives from the connection
then suddenly you're whisked away
on a metaphorical cavalcade
you become intrigued by their dangling propositions
enamored with their ability to
put their inner most thoughts into words
specifically designed for you
it's difficult to fathom the notion of
someone who doesn't know you at all
seemingly knows you so intimatelyl
a person completely oblivious of your existence
has taken your life experiences
and immortalized them within their sentences
your spirits then...
become kindred through the pen
hopefully one day allowing those
parallel tracks to intersect
those identical trains of thought to converge
@ the crossroads between
now and forever
heaven and earth
destination...eternity
wow i love it....two trains of thought....on that same mental sphere....but we are taught to walk by faith and not by sight.....and the fact that we would have something so special and rare is just fact....and i don't see anything wrong with that.....wonderful senergy....peace...thewell 08/09/2007
I just keep running into your scribes....and damn glad I am may I add! I love this piece...I think all poets long to have someone like that in their lives if they don't already...I know I do! Someoone to understand you....someone to love your passion (even if it is not their passion) supporting your words and clinging to them as though it fed their souls. You are a wonderful poet 5!
