A GOOD BLACK MAN IS THERE WHEN YOU COME HOME FROM WORK
AND MAY EVEN MASSAGE YOUR FEET
HE IS KIND, GENTLE, LOVING, AND STRONG
SENSITIVE ENOUGH TO ADMIT WHEN HE'S WRONG
A GOOD MAN WILL HAVE YOU FANTASIZING ALL THE DAYS LONG
AND RUSHING HOME TO PERFORM, THE BALANCING ACT OF 'CATERING TO HIM ALL THE NIGHT LONG'
BUT NOT JUST ANY OLE MAN WILL DO
A POSITIVE BLACK MAN CARES ABOUT WHAT YOU HAVE BEEN THROUGH
HE'LL TAKE NOTICE OF THOSE "LIL THINGS" THAT MEAN THE WORLD TO YOU
AND WHEN YOU ARE SICK HE'LL TAKE CARE OF YOU
WHEN YOU ARE HURT, HE'LL COMFORT YOU
AND WHEN YOU ARE WRONG, HE'LL FORGIVE YOU
HE HAS AN OPEN HEART AS PURE AS GOLD
WILL FOREVER BE LONGING FOR YOUR SPECIAL HOLD
WILL NOT TRY TO CHANGE, MANIPULATE OR MOLD
